LoDoMus Prime and his sidekick Dave roam two downtown Denver parking garages every day, watching people park their cars and rush off to appointments in nearby office buildings. If a person lingers too long, LoDoMus Prime or Dave will start a countdown: “Five, four, three, two, one.” Then the robots call their human security backup. They resemble R2D2 but without the bleeps, boops and squeaks emitted by the famous “Star Wars” droid. The robots went to work in the LoDo Towers’ two garages on 17th Street in October 2022 after building management recognized an increase in car break-ins, said Bethany Chang, a principal with CIM Group, the firm that manages the property. Since the company deployed the robots, it has seen a more than 70% drop in car thefts and vandalism, she said.A man walks toward his car as Dave the security robot patrols the LoDo Towers’ parking lot at 1401 17th Street on December 5, 2023 in Denver, Colorado. A source told The Post that Wilson is in the building as the team prepares for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers and that he is currently in line to be active on game day and serve as the backup quarterbackWilson’s performance level has dipped over the past four games — three Broncos losses — but the rationale behind benching him for the season’s final two games can also easily be seen as being driven at least as much by financial ramifications as by football performance.Wilson’s contract contains a provision that,...Powerball jackpot jumps to $700 million ahead of Wednesday's drawing

Experts assumed the pod of about 10 killer whales would soon return to the warmer waters of Mexico where they are typically found.Midway through last week, they were spotted in San Diego and appeared to be headed south of the border. Instead, they turned around and returned to the waters off Orange County.A killer whale chases a dolphin off Laguna Beach, California on Dec. 24, 2023. By Brian Fung | CNNWashington — A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked a sweeping import ban on Apple’s latest smartwatches while the patent dispute winds its way through the legal system.Apple filed its emergency appeal motion Tuesday on a US International Trade Commission ruling that went into effect this week.
