Subpoenas reissued to Harbour Point Gardens managers TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- City leaders in Troy have again subpoenaed the owners and management of the Harbour Point Gardens apartment complex. The city council voted unanimously in favor of reissuing it, saying they want to ensure residents that their right to live in clean and safe housing will be protected. The city council has issued 12 tickets for code violations as city leaders try to learn how the property ended up in poor condition in the first place.More than 100 tenants had to evacuate two months ago over concerns about falling bricks. More than 20 units are still considered unsafe. The owners, who took over in 2022, previously told NEWS10 they have made $2 million in repairs in the past year.

Indigenous teen missing from Thornton; authorities ask for public’s help locating her A 16-year-old Indigenous girl who was last seen in Thornton on Tuesday is missing.Dominique Brown was last seen about 9 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Grant Street and East 136th Avenue, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.She is described by CBI as 5′ 3″ tall and 115 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black clothing, including a pulled-up hoodie.Dominique Brown, 16, was last seen in Thornton on Tuesday. Man found guilty of murder, left girlfriend’s body in Anaheim dumpster An Orange County man accused of killing his girlfriend and leaving her body in an alleyway dumpster was found guilty of murder.Following a trial, Amer Alhasan, 33, was found guilty of first-degree murder for the 2018 death of Tiyanie Ly, who was 38 at the time, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.Alhasan was arrested on Oct. 31, 2018, at LAX airport when he tried to flee the country one day after Ly’s body was discovered, Anaheim police said.Ly was a mother of three young children who lived in Santa Ana. Man killed in North Hollywood; suspect at large Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed in North Hollywood on Friday afternoon.Los Angeles police responded to a shooting at a neighborhood on the 6100 Block of Carpenter Avenue around  3:24 p.m.Arriving officers found a man suffering gunshot wounds.
